Lakefront Farms is a community of large acreage waterfront lots surrounding a very private lake located on the NC/VA border. Parts of this community are in two states and three counties - Mecklenburg County, VA, and Vance and Granville Counties in NC. It is easy to find on any map since the middle of the lake is located near where the Vance and Granville county line meets the NC/VA border.

| The lake is about two miles long and has over eight miles of shoreline surrounding several hundred acres. At one time, we owned all of the private land surrounding the lake and we still own most of it. Since we live on the lake and enjoy the peace and serenity of it, we have been very careful to sell only a limited number of multi-acre tracts which are restricted to maintain the peaceful nature of the lake. After not having sold any land for many years, we have decided to sell several lakefront lots in Vance County, NC ranging in size from 1.8 acres to 6.1 acres and covering about 4,700 feet of shoreline.

These lots are very rare since they are true lakefrontage. You will own to the water's edge and even into the water. Although this means that some of the land is under water, it is very important to control the bottom under the lakefrontage. If you don't own it, someone else does, as with most lakes owned by the power company or the government. This is your land to do with as you please, within government regulations that apply to all land and the USA flowage easement.
