Our general location is along the North Carolina/Virginia border, about 50 miles North of Raleigh, NC, or about 80 miles South of Richmond, VA. More locally, we are about 7 miles SE of Clarksville, VA, about 14 miles NE of Oxford, NC, or about 16 miles N of Henderson, NC.
FROM CLARKSVILLE: From US 58 in Clarksville, take US15 South (toward Oxford). Go about 6 miles and turn left onto Townsville Road (you will cross the North Carolina state line shortly before getting to Townsville Road). Go exactly 7.1 miles on the Townsville Road to our entranceway on the right at 403 Rock Church Road.
FROM DURHAM: Take I-85 North to Oxford Exit 202 onto US15 North thru Oxford, Stovall, and Bullock. From Bullock, continue on US 15 about 2.5 miles and take the first right on the Townsville Road. Go exactly 7.1 miles on the Townsville Road to our entranceway on the right at 403 Rock Church Road. FROM RALEIGH: Take NC 50 (Creedmoor Road) to Creedmoor and take US15 North thru Oxford, Stovall, and Bullock. From Bullock, continue on US 15 about 2.5 miles and take the first right on the Townsville Road. Go exactly 7.1 miles on the Townsville Road to our entranceway on the right at 403 Rock Church Road.
As you travel theTownsville Road, the signs change to Ivy Hill Road, and then to Rock Church Road, but it is still the same road, (aka NC Route 39). After about five miles, you will cross a dam separating our lake on the right from Kerr Lake on the left. After about another mile from there, you will pass "The Trading Post" country store on your left. Our entrance is about a mile from there and is the next right after "Pine Knot Farms". At the entranceway, you will see our mailbox that says "403 Rock Church Road" where you turn right. Once you leave the state road, continue on our gravel road as it meanders through the woods for about a mile to a crossroads at the top of a hill. Here you will see signs marking Lots 1 thru 14 to the left and Lots 15 thru 17 straight ahead.
Each lot corner has an iron pin and a wooden stake with the lot number on it. A lot number is also near the middle of the lot at the road and the water's edge. The lot side boundaries are marked with orange surveyor's tape. The 290' elevation flowage easement line, which you must build behind, is marked with blue surveyor's tape.
Most lots have a driveway leading into the interior of the lot.
Feel free to look on your own or, if you prefer, we will be glad to guide you. If you want to take a tour of the lake on our pontoon boat, need bathroom facilities, have questions, or just want to say hello, our home (office) is located about 500 feet to the right of the crossroads. We would love to meet you.
