Our lake, known as Island Creek Reservoir, is adjacent to and part of the Kerr Lake project. It is located in a rural area about 15 miles or minutes from three small towns near the NC/VA border. These towns are:
Clarksville, VA....the smallest of the three towns and the only town located on Kerr Lake...located in Mecklenburg County, the county adjacent to the north side of the lots;
Henderson, NC ...the largest of the three with the most shopping facilities, hospitals, etc....located in Vance County, NC, where the lots are located;
Oxford, NC....an interesting, progressive small town with a rich history and soon to have a Super Walmart...located in Granville County, the county adjacent to the west side of the lots.
Most anything you need can be found in one of these three towns.
Also, there are several convenience-type stores within a few miles of here.
